About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Bright is a freelance AI Trainer and founder of Bright Light Enterprises, contributing to the development of responsible, human-centered AI.

With a foundation in writing, editing, communications, training, and customer experience, Elizabeth brings an unusually broad perspective to artificial intelligence. For more than three years, her work has included AI training and evaluation, data annotation, quality review, rubric-based assessment and design, and multimodal annotation.

Her path to AI was not a traditional technical one. Instead, it grew from decades of experience centered on language, people, creativity, communication, and judgment. Now, she applies those skills to emerging AI technologies, with a particular interest in the human judgment behind AI—the ability to recognize nuance, evaluate quality, question what doesn't seem right, and help increasingly sophisticated systems become more accurate, useful, and responsible.
